In fact, I would say that the most critical area where we need this infusion of creativity is in how speakers/pastors/teachers use their words to communicate ideas and concepts. The orator must be creative in how he practices his/her craft. Derrak Andy,

It's brilliant. Just wasn't sure if you were suggesting that the video was an example of "putting skin on" informative content. Your buddy is crazy-talented. I'd also like to put in a plug for the old-fashioned notion that a 25 minute, bible-tethered, expository, man-standing-behind-a-pulpit-and-speaking (sans PowerPoint, etc.) sermon requires a sustained creative spirit. And, when it does, it can still be as relevant, timely, real, and provocative as any other method. A lot of people might assume that "creative communication" necessarily equals gadget-laden, visually stimulating communication. And, for the record, I ought to distinguish two types of things "old-fashioned." My love of argyle, bow ties, and stained glass is just a preference for things that have gone out of style. I feel much more passionate about the points made about preaching above than I do about socks or neckwear! Good batting this around with you, bro.... I couldn’t agree more, Derrak. It’s brilliant. This video is just an fun example of creativity. I mean who looks at a video of their little girl making faces and noises and thinks, "I could make this into a song!" It is just a cool example of looking at something, and seeing something else that is not obviously there. It's an example of creativity in action. It's creative, but is it an example of the principle you are explicating? What did that communicate? It’s creative, but is it an example of the principle you are explicating?
